Will Hunt - $10,000 Drum Kit (2011) and The Other Side Drums (2012)



This is a short video recorded by Will Hunt when he was recording with Evanescence in 2011. In this video he is showing you the drum kit - priced $10,000 according to him. The self-titled album was recorded in the Black Bird Studio in Nashville, and it was produced by the Grammy-winning Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones, Stone Sour, Rush, etc).

He also uploaded a video of him playing the drums for The Other Side:


While he uploaded the videos to the fans in Easter 2013, he was working with Device with Disturbed's frontman David Draiman as Evanescence was still on hiatus.

Lemmy Kilmister - Listen To Them, You Won't Be Sorry (2011)


The lead vocalist and bassist of the heavy metal band Motorhead, Lemmy Kilmister, admitted that he liked Evanescence. Lemmy has stated in several interviews that he indeed listened to the band.

According to an interview in 2007 by Stay Thirsty Media, he said that Evanescence was great with excellent songs, arrangement, and production and that he had seen them live in Las Vegas.

He revealed some of his favorite records (but he also mentioned his own band, Motorhead), and told us "listen to all of them, you won't be sorry".

This video was uploaded by Rhapsody in March 2011, months before the third studio album of Evanescence was released. In 2012, Amy Lee posted a photo of her and Lemmy backstage when they were touring in Germany.

Evanescence Live @ Rock In Rio - Full Concert (2011)


Missed the Rock In Rio that was broadcast live on Youtube last October 2011? You can watch the full concert here. The band played the songs from their 3rd album plus the older songs from their previous records including "Bring Me To Life" and "Call Me When You're Sober".

Update October 2012: Amy Lee revealed in an interview that they had a little bit of a hard time playing there.
