Evanescence in Istanbul, Turkey - Ajanda TV (2012)

Amy Lee and Troy McLawhorn on Ajanda TV before playing at Tuborg Goldfest (a 3-day rock festival) in Istanbul, July 2012. This is their second time of visiting the country.

When asked about female fronted rock bands such as Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation (the bands were also scheduled to play at the same festival, but on different days), Amy and Troy said there should be more women in rock.

Different from their tour in 2007, this time they got to spend more time in Istanbul. Here is one picture of Evanescence when they were having dinner in the city:

Regarding the festival, some fans were disappointed because those under 18 years old were not allowed to attend (Tuborg is a brand of an alcoholic beverage).
