This is a video uploaded by ArtisanNews in 2008. It shows ex-members of Evanescence who appeared at the Grammys and "wanted their Grammy glory" (according to ArtisanNews).
Ex-members of Evanescence, Ben Moody and David Hodges were involved in the album "Fallen" so they were there when the band won two awards for "Best Hard Rock Performance" and "Best New Artist" at the Grammys in 2004.
David left the band in 2002 because he was more comfortable if Evanescence went into the Christian rock scene, and Ben left in 2003 because of "creative differences".
While John LeCompt was fired from the band in 2007 (drummer Rocky Gray also quit at the same time), and although the reasons are not to be confirmed yet, many fans believe that he was in the band "just for the money". Previously, bassist Will Boyd left the band in 2006 because he didn't want to do another big tour.
John appeared at the Grammys in 2007 when Evanescence was nominated for "Best Hard Rock Performance" (they lost out to Foo Fighters, though) for their song "Sweet Sacrifice", although John was not credited for the song.
