Amy Lee Didn't Credit Herself for the Success of Other Female-Fronted Rock Bands (2013)

An interview of Amy Lee by ScuzzTV, the highest-rated rock and metal TV station on UK satellite.

One of the interesting parts of the interview is when Amy revealed that she hated the rap in Bring Me To Life. Turned out that when Evanescence was signed, the band was forced by their record label to hire a full-time male rapper for the band, but they refused. They only agreed to use a male vocalist (Paul McCoy of 12 Stones) in Bring Me To Life.

After Evanescence released Fallen, female-fronted rock bands like Lacuna Coil and Nightwish got much more attention (they've been around for a long time before Evanescence), and when Scuzz asked her about that, she answered that she did not credit herself for that, but regarding women in rock, she said "the more the merrier".

Amy also revealed that the cover for the single Together Again was her artwork. The sales of the single were donated to earthquake victims in Haiti in 2010.

Lost In Paradise - Official Music Video (2013)

Finally the anticipated video for Evanescence's latest single, Lost In Paradise, was uploaded. This video consists of the various live footage of the band's concerts, some were sent by the fans around the world. The video also has some footage from their Nobel Peace Prize Concert 2011.

In the description, there is a message from Amy Lee saying  

"Thank you all for an amazing tour and for your help documenting a memory that we will cherish forever!"

This video was uploaded and announced to the fans on February 14, 2013 when the band was on hiatus. In late 2012, Amy previously asked the fans via her Twitter account to send their best life footage of Lost in Paradise. However, this video was not uploaded after previously the acoustic video of the song from Amp Rock TV was announced earlier.

Will Hunt - Going Under Drums (2012)

This is another video of Will Hunt playing the drums for Going Under live in London, UK, in November 2012. Another video he previously shared was the one when he played the drums for What You Want in Birmingham, U.K, but from a different angle.

This video was shared via his Facebook page as a "bonus" after the fans liked a fan page of his new project with David Draiman (Disturbed), Device. He also confirmed that Device was just a project while Evanescence was still on hiatus, and that he didn't leave the band.

Will Hunt - What You Want Drum Cam (2012)

Will Hunt posted an update on his Facebook page about a video of him playing the drums for What You Want, just as he promised. This video was recorded during Evanescence's tour in Birmingham, UK in November 2012.

There's also a video showing him playing the drums for Bring Me To Life which was recorded in 2007.

Lost In Paradise Acoustic - Amp Rock TV (2013)

Amy Lee performing the acoustic version (piano only) of Lost in Paradise. In June 2012, Amp Rock TV also featured Evanescence in The Words, which was directed by Tim Mattia.

Fans have actually been waiting for the official video of Lost in Paradise since last year. There were some rumors concerning the video, including that the band would shoot a video while touring in Brazil.

After the band's tour finished in 2012, Amy Lee then asked the fans to send their best live videos of Lost in Paradise which was supposed to be for the official video.

The video of Lost in Paradise was finally uploaded.

Shirley Manson Mentioned Amy Lee on Stage (2012)

Garbage's lead singer Shirley Manson mentioned Evanescence's Amy Lee on stage at Planeta Terra Festival 2012 (in Bogota, Colombia).

She thanked the festival organizers for inviting women to take part. She then told to the audience about Amy Lee, who was inspired to start a band after seeing one of Garbage's shows (and Smashing Pumpkins at that time) when she was still a teenager. That day (October 27, 2012), Evanescence was the headliner at the festival.

Amy Lee - Voice TV Interview (2007)

Amy Lee's interview with Voice TV, Finland in 2007. In this video, Amy is talking about touring, the story behind Call Me When You're Sober (about her ex-boyfriend, Shaun Morgan of Seether), and more, including band changes.

She said that Troy McLawhorn and Will Hunt, who filled in for John and Rocky at the time - not permanent members yet -, were great musicians. She also stated that ex-band mates John and Rocky had moved on to "something bigger" because they didn't just want to be touring musicians for Evanescence, they wanted to write songs too, but it didn't work out. Rocky ended up selling Evanescence's plaques on Ebay for $500 a pop.
