Prior to their first concert in Peru on October 25, 2012, Evanescence did a press conference.

When one of the journalists (from Peru.com) asked Amy Lee about how difficult was it writing without the band's co-founder and former guitarist Ben Moody, she said that it had been going pretty well since it had been 9 years since he left.

She also stated that South American fans were extremely passionate and really cared about music, and that it was something they'd been missing in the U.S.

It's quite noisy, so you can't clearly hear what they're saying but one of the questions was about their first visit to the country, and they revealed that they celebrated Tim McCord's birthday there the night before.

Another question was about whether Amy had tattoos, and she answered that all of them had tattoos except for her and Tim.

Evanescence Press Conference In Morocco (2012)

Fast forward to 1:06 to see the press conference of Evanescence (without Troy) in Morocco before they performed live at Mawazine Festival in May 2012. BTW, I think they were referring to a concert in Jakarta (I was there) when they were welcomed like "rock stars", but it turned out that the crowd was not as what they expected (the concert hall was half empty).

Some of the questions asked were about what do they think of the fact that they have one of the most commonly misspelled band name, who the would like to collaborate with (one of the guys from the media recommended Justin Bieber jokingly), and how was it like to perform in the Nobel Peace Prize Concert for the first time.
